Durability, solidity and comfort are the three pillars on which the German style rests. About color: most of all, the Germans are impressed by the shades of wood. The furniture is an example of classic lines. Pragmatic tables, comfortable but austere sofas, square, stable chairs made of natural wood. The role of textiles is traditional: these are cushions, covers on armchairs and chairs, tablecloths. Simple frosted glass shades are preferred. Rooms are decorated with paintings, family portraits, vases, souvenir beer mugs.
