We have been amazed at the comfort, durability and longevity of this furniture. Our outdoor cats have not been able to do any noticeable damage and they slept on it regularly. It is as weather proof as any outdoor furniture could be. I just replaced the nylon bumpers on our original set, this year. If you like the style, you will enjoy the Winston furniture. Several years ago, our next door neighbors bought similar sets at a local box store. The comfort was not there due to the tension of the springs, what a waist !
