Description
Teddy Exterior is an exclusive and comfortable outdoor lounge chair designed by Viggo Boesen in 1936.Teddy Exterior is handcrafted in Alu-Rattan and ArtFibre, and therefore has a unique strength and durability. Alu-Rattan is weather-resistant powder-coated aluminum and ArtFibre is artificial fibers made from polyethylene. Due to the weather-resistant materials the chair can stand outside all year round, without compromising the design or quality.Viggo Boesen was known as one of the best designers in the heyday of Danish design. Teddy is Viggo Boesen's interpretation of the popular ear flap chair from the mid-19th century. The chair was named Teddy because of the design that resembles a teddy bear hug. The name both describes the appearance of the chair, and the feeling when leaning back into the lounge chair. Teddy is also available in an indoor version made of rattan, see it here.In the same iconic design, you find the matching Teddy Exterior Footstool. The footstool completes the lounge chair and adds extra comfort.The Teddy Exterior lounge chair requires no maintenance and is easy to clean.A Teddy cushion is offered in a selection of colors. The cushion is developed in our Danish sewing studio and is created to fit perfectly in the Teddy Exterior chair. We also offer to sew cushions in your own fabric - please contact us for information on fabric use and prices.
