The cast iron firebox divider is a handy tool that allows you to cook using direct heat on one side of the grill, and indirect heat on the other side. It also gives you the opportunity to fire up only half of your grill - using the divider allows for less coal and therefore a smaller fire. It fits right into the lower grate that comes with your grill. This firebox divider is made specifically for use with your Oval XL 400 Primo Grill. It will also fit in the Jack Daniel's Edition Oval XL grill. Note: Product photo shows the cast iron divider as it is installed with the lower grate, which comes with your grill. Divider does not include grate.
