MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture. |

With the 22-inch leaf in place, it extends to 102 inches long, accommodating up to 4 coordinating benches and two armchairs or up to 8 coordinating arm or side chairs. Without the leaf, it accommodates up to 6 coordinating arm or side chairs and up to two coordinating benches and two armchairs.
