The Snowfall Semi-Flush Mount is made of wrought iron in a gesso white finish. Given it is made from resolute metal, it is a remarkably graceful design. Ian Thornton envisioned the white semi-flush to mimic the way snow sticks to branches after a winter storm. ''The branches taper as they would in nature,'' he says. ''I feel this fixture has a nice sense of movement.''
