We are hoping that they will do well in the sun because we use them everyday. They look very cool and "retro" in front of our white farm house. The only challenge is that they DO NOT TILT. They stay exactly like the photo, all of the time. I didn't see the warning until after it was on the way about them not tilting. I keep looking for some sort of "kit" where I can make them tilt, but I have not found one yet. Other than than, very neat product. :)
