Product Overview

Both end tables in the Old World Collection finish at 27 in height so they can be used as a pair, and hold matching lamps at the same height. A drawer is located within the curved aprons for miscellaneous storage. The top features a sunburst of cherry cathedral veneers that are book matched and bordered with herringbone inlay and avidore cross banding. The finish is a rich and warm pomegranate shade that has both depth and clarity which allows the natural beauty of the wood graining to shine through. Burnished edges, hand rubbed fronts and machine rubbed tops provide a satiny glow that enriches the Old World feel of this collection.

The 28 inch round table is well-made has an attractive stain and a beautiful glossy finish on the table top. It took me about 20 minutes to unboxed and build it with the supplied wrench. The built-in drawer lacks a metal sliding mechanism. The drawer just slides on wood. This seems adequate for something that will probably be rarely opened. I was equally pleased with the rectangular table but we ended up sending the round 40 inch cocktail table back for replacement because the shine and quality were not the same. I noticed that both the round and rectangular end tables were manufactured in Vietnam but the 40 inch cocktail table was manufactured in China.
