The Sachi Area Rug by Linie Design is a handmade, handloomed, non-reversible in a high quality wool/viscose mix which gives the rug a slight shiny texture. This rug is available in three sizes and in two different colors which features a swirling pattern for a contemporary feel. This area rug will add comfort and a contemporary feel to your space while not distracting or overwhelming. Using ancient handloom techniques, this collection of rugs has been skillfully crafted by hand to create an exclusive and authentic expression that machines are unable to replicate. Expert craftsfolk weave the product by interlacing the yarn lengthwise and widthwise with a shuttle, forming the density also vary greatly, depending if the rug is flat-woven or produced with a pile for a softer, plush finish. Different dimensions can also be created by screen printing, with single or multiple layers of print in varying colors being laid over the top to produce the desired effect. After being removed from the loom, the rugs are taken to their finishing section where a team of artisans finish them by hand. All details are carefully inspected to ensure the final result complies with the requirements of the sample or artwork that originated the order. Once the quality has been approved, it is ready for its new home, where it will retain its beauty for many years to come. This is an indoor use only rug that does require our Prima Luxus rug pad for solid surfaces, item sold separately. Product care includes vacuuming and using mild soap with a damp towel, or, as with most Viscose rugs, steam cleaning at the dry cleaners. |
