The vintage rugs that inspired this piece were originally handwoven in the ancient city of Khotan and designed with wave and fret patterns or flowering vines along the borders. This take is made from a soft wool/cotton blend in neutral earth tones with an intricate motif that's been modernized, yet still seems to speak a story all its own.
